About 400 applications from the youth of Tatarstan were sent to the federal programme “Student Startup”. Each of the applications competes for a title of winner and an award of 1 million rubles to implement their project.
“Student Startup” is a new programme of the Foundation for Assistance to Small Innovative Enterprises (FASIE). Applications were accepted from students of bachelor's, specialist's, master's, postgraduate studies at Russian universities in 7 areas, including digital technologies, medicine and health-saving technologies, creative industries, etc.
A consultation on submitting applications to the programme in Tatarstan was conducted by the regional representative office of the FASIE – Technopark “Idea”.
As Oleg Ibragimov, CEO of “Idea”, explained, this year the programme “Student Startup” is being implemented for the first time: “The programme is new and it was very important for us that the maximum number of university students in the republic learned about it and submitted high-quality applications. To do this, in a short time, Technopark’s specialists conducted away and online consultations for students of Tatarstan universities. The projects are interesting and I hope that federal experts will assess them worthy of funding.”
Recall that according to the results of the programme “Student Startup”, 1,000 winners will be determined, who will receive 1 million rubles each for the implementation of their project.
It is planned that the results of the programme will be announced at the end of June 2022.
