The first Practicum School “Business Incubator and High Technology Park Management”, organized by the Ministry of Communications and Mass Media of the Russian Federation and Intel Corporation will take place in Technopark of Novosibirsk Akademgorodok “Academpark” on August 28-30, 2013. The Practicum School opening will be held in the form of a plenary session on “Strengthening the innovation infrastructure of technoparks and business incubators”.
The plenary session will be attended by Deputy Minister of Communications and Mass Media of the Russian Federation Mark Shmulevich, Advisor to the President of Skolkovo Pekka Viljakainen, Director of External Relations for Russia and the CIS at Intel Corporation Anna Lobanova, co-founder of Karostech Ltd Ilkka Kakko and other speakers who will discuss the key business processes and technopark’s end products, the technoparks interaction with universities and academic community, and the expert community role in the formation of innovative infrastructure of technoparks and business incubators.
CEO of Technopark “Idea” Sergey Yushko at the invitation of the RF Ministry of Communications and Mass Media will also take part in the plenary session. He will report on the relevance of technoparks to the development of small innovative enterprises, as well as the technopark performance indicators system based on the criteria of European Business and Innovation Centres Network, which are the basis for the development strategy implementation.
Technopark “Idea” is a member of EBN and an accredited Business Innovation Centre - EC-BIC (European Community Business & Innovation Centre) since 2009, says Sergey Yushko. “From this time the “Idea” for its efficient activity is engaged in constant evaluation of key performance indicators, among which one of the most important is the number of jobs created. Over the past 2012 year, 692 new jobs were created in Technopark”, - said CEO of Technopark “Idea”.
To the point, this Technopark’s activity attracts more and more attention of foreign colleagues. In particular, the Secretary General of the Assembly of European Regions Pascal Goergen during his visit to Technopark gave a positive evaluation to the Technopark’s experience and emphasized the reasonability of the preparation and implementation of joint EBN and AIRR programs for small innovative companies support and assured of his assistance.
