Technopark CEO Sergey Yushko shared his management experience in Technopark “Idea” with Russian colleagues in Novosibirsk. The event took place in Technopark of Novosibirsk Akademgorodok “Academpark” on August 28-30, 2013 within the first Practicum School “Business Incubator and High Technology Park Management”, organized by the Ministry of Communications and Mass Media of the Russian Federation and Intel Corporation.
According to the organizers, the Practicum School uniqueness was an attempt to combine the training of project teams and representatives of technoparks. Mentors improved their start-ups skills on the example of business projects made by participants and graduates of the Summer and Winter Schools of Academpark.
The plenary session on “Strengthening the innovation infrastructure of technoparks and business incubators” was attended by Deputy Minister of Communications and Mass Media of the Russian Federation Mark Shmulevich, Advisor to the President of Skolkovo Pekka Viljakainen,Director of External Relations for Russia and the CIS at Intel Corporation Anna Lobanova, co-founder of Karostech Ltd Ilkka Kakko and other speakers who discussed the key business processes and technopark’s end products, the technoparks interaction with universities and academic community, and the expert community role in the formation of innovative infrastructure of technoparks and business incubators.
Sergey Yushko reported on the relevance of technoparks to the development of small innovative enterprises as well as the technopark performance indicators system based on the criteria of European Business and Innovation Centres Network.
CEO of Technopark “Idea” in his speech paid a special attention to technoparks’ management aspects. In particular, Russian and foreign colleagues gave a positive evaluation to Tatarstan experience in this area.
