WELCOME TO THE CONTEST OF YOUTH INNOVATIVE PROJECTS “INNOVATION POLYGON “TATARSTAN – THE TERRITORY OF THE FUTURE”

On October 14, 2013, the IV round of the second Republican Contest of Youth Innovative Projects: “Innovation Polygon “Tatarstan – the territory of the future 2013” was launched in Tatarstan.  

The second Republican Contest of Youth Innovative Projects: “Innovation Polygon “Tatarstan – the territory of the future 2013” was recognized as the priority project for 2013, implemented under the Research and Education Cluster Coordination Board of the FSBEI HPE “KNRTU” with the support of First Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Tatarstan, Chairman of the Research and Education Cluster Coordination Board of the FSBEI HPE “KNRTU” Ravil Muratov.

The purpose of the Contest is to provide young gifted children with the opportunity to carry out real research and develop their own projects at the school-days stage.    

The Contest’s areas are as follows: materials of the future, future technologies, future communications and environment of the future.

The Contest’s categories are as follows: “Best Innovation Project”, “Best Innovative Idea”, “Best innovative solution”. 

The Contest consists of five rounds from May to December, 2013:

I round: applications collection, projects selection (May, 2013). The Contest opening ceremony.

II round: theoretical training course “Fundamentals of business planning”, “Major trends in modern science”, “Fundamentals of Entrepreneurship” in the FSBEI HPE “KNRTU” (June, 2013).

III round: independent project work (June – September, 2013).

IV round: teamwork with experts, trainers, coachers within the Business day, Case-study (October – November, 2013).

V round: Final stage: project defense to venture investors in the format Elevator Pitch (December, 2013). The Contest closing ceremony.

The project is currently involved over 120 upper students of secondary schools as well as specialized primary and secondary educational institutions of Kazan city and the Republic of Tatarstan at the age of 14-17, 52 teachers and 40 experts.
