CEO of Technopark "Idea" Sergey Yushko will be a member of Tatarstan delegation as well.

The Gaidar Forum is one of the major annual international scientific conferences in the field of economy in Russia. The Forum was established in 2010 in tribute to the memory of Yegor Gaidar, the leading Russian economist and the architect of the Russian reforms of the early 1990s. Over this time, the Forum has become the country’s central political and economic event.

This year, the Conference "Russia and the World: Sustainable Development" will focus on such top-priority issues as economic growth in the context of global transformations, its potential and effective management, risks associated with innovative entrepreneurship, new industrialization, contradictions of resource-based economies and controversial effects of modernization for the country’s socio-political and economic development.

Today President of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov has reported to the Doing Business In Russia 2.0 plenary session within the Gaidar Forum in Moscow that Tatarstan management pays great attention to improvement of the business climate in the region, creation of conditions for attracting investments. Rustam Minnikhanov has told about the Republic’s experience in enhancing the regional attractiveness for doing business. “All regions have quite a few flaws, we have things that need to be changed. But we do try to change,” Tatarstan’s chief executive said.

As Rustam Minnikhanov stated, Tatarstan had set up an investment board that examined large investment projects. Authorities’ consistent effort resulted in reducing the time of obtaining certain documents, lowering the utilities connection rates, and eliminating some other obstacles for businesses.

According to him, a municipal investment attractiveness standard will be implemented in Tatarstan in 2014. In the future, each municipality will have at least one infrastructure platform for small businesses.
