Today Deputy Governor of the Chelyabinsk region has acquainted with the activity of Innovative Technopark “Idea”. The delegation that also included Director of the Agency for Investment Development of the Chelyabinsk region Oleg Permyakov, Head of the Permanent Representation of the Chelyabinsk region under the Government of the Russian Federation Alexander Shepilov was accompanied by First Deputy Minister of Informatization and Communications of the Republic of Tatarstan Yuri Bagrov.
Director of Innovation Oleg Ibragimov told the guests about the features of Technopark infrastructure, the specifics of working with residents and the possibilities offered to startups.
He said that “Idea” is the first technopark in Russia. This year Technopark has celebrated its 10th anniversary. During this time innovation cluster was established in the republic: with the assistance of Technopark were created IT-park, Technopolis “Himgrad”, Kama Industrial Park “Master” and Technopark “Idea-Yugo-Vostok”. Every year about 60 new innovative companies are created only on the site of Technopark. For all the time of Technopark work over 400 new companies were able to localize at the site and more than 7,000 new jobs were created by its resident companies.
Now there is active cooperation with foreign colleagues. So, in 2010, having a two-stage selection, Technopark “Idea” became the first Russian technopark received membership in the European Business and Innovation Centre Network (EBN). By the end of 2013 according to EBN “Idea” entered in the top 15 best business and innovation centers around the world in its category.
“We are always open to dialogue and actively cooperate with colleagues from the Russian regions”, - said Oleg Ibragimov. In particular, he told about the interaction with Technopark of Novosibirsk Akademgorodok and Krasnoyarsk Regional Innovative and Technology Business Incubator, which with the assistance of Technopark became full members of EBN in 2013.
