There are extended accepting applications on the competition of the Russian Youth Prize in the field of nanotechnology. Young Russian innovators, developers and businessmen can apply for the Prize until August 15, 2014 inclusive.

The Prize was established in 2009, and today it is presented by RUSNANO group for the development and implementation of a new nanotechnology product or technology, realized on the production with annual volume not less than 3 million rubles. Winner of the Prize can be a citizen of the Russian Federation under the age of 35 years inclusive, who is not part of the governing body and award of the Prize. There is allowed to be nominated for the award of third parties, as well as self-promotion.
This year will be awarded the Sixth Annual Russian Youth Prize in the field of nanotechnology. Cash prize of 300 thousand rubles, the honorable diploma and award symbol of the Prize will be received by a winner, chosen by the governing bodies of RUSNANO group from among the finalists of the Prize. Each of the finalists will have the opportunity to present their development of a wide audience of potential investors, business partners, and representatives of major Russian development institutes.
The winner will be announced on October 15, 2014 at a ceremony within the framework of the Forum and Exhibition “Open Innovation” in Moscow.
Co-organizers of the Russian Youth Prize in the field of nanotechnology in 2014 are the Agency for Strategic Initiatives, the Association of Innovative Regions of Russia, the Russian Nanotechnology Society, the Russian Venture Capital Association, the Russian Venture Company, the Fund “Skolkovo”, the Foundation for Assistance to Small Innovative Enterprises in Science and Technology, and Center for Innovation Development of Moscow.
