Today the delegation of Krasnodar region has met with the activity of Innovative Technopark “Idea”. The delegation, which included Krasnodar entrepreneurs, especially was interested in the conditions provided by Technopark for its residents.
Head of the Department of External Relations and PR Evgeny Malikov told that in Technopark successfully are working both startups and technological subvisions of world brands. Small companies are learning the skills of doing business and the specifics of working with partners from successful enterprises. There are successful examples of the mutual cooperation of small companies with anchor residents.
It is important that in Technopark are actively developing the so-called spin-off companies, when a startup company becomes successful and its employees separate from the parent and create another company, working in this direction, but does not compete with the parent company. In particular, Evgeny Malikov told about the activity of the digital-production company SmartHead, whose clients are about 90 world brands.
During the visit Evgeny Malikov told about events held for startups. So, in 2005, Technopark together with the Russian Venture Capital Association (RVCA) and the Investment and Venture Fund of the Republic of Tatarstan (IVF RT) for the first time in the Volga region conducted the First regional venture fair, in which the companies were given the opportunity to present their business to venture investors. In 2007, the fair was held for the second time and since then has become an annual event. In 2014, the IX Kazan venture fair was attended by more than 100 representatives of investment funds and private investors. The high level of interest was shown by investors from Austria, Belgium, Germany, Portugal, United Kingdom, United States, Finland and Switzerland. The Fair was attended by more than 1,500 visitors from all over the world.
