On April 22, 2015 at 9.00 am the heads of the leading venture funds of the U.S.A and Europe will continue their work in the Technopark “Idea”.

Tomorrow the Russian start-up projects will be appraised by the Director of AppCampus - business accelerator of Aalto University (Finland) Paolo Borella, Garry Tan (Y-Combinator) and Lars Buch (Startup Boot Camp).

The event takes place in the framework of acceleration program for technology projects Kazan BootCamp, which is part of the educational program of the X Kazan and XV Russian Joint Venture Fair and is being held in Technopark “Idea” from 20 to 22 April, 2015.

The program consists of lectures, seminars, workshops, networking and other educational modules and systems of coaching, dedicated to the development of the business model, scientific and technological development of the project, attraction of investments, business planning, marketing, public relations, and other topics.

51 start-up projects have been claimed on Kazan BootCamp, the authors of which gathered in the capital of the Republic from Krasnoyarsk, St.Petersburg, Moscow and other cities of the country

Today, April 21 selection of projects has been conducted by the Director of the International Accelerator Kauffman Fellows Academy, partner of Global Innov8ion Inc., member of the Board of Singularity University (USA) Val Gerdes, partner of Seed Fund 500 Startups Marvin Liao and John Soberg (Expansive Ventures).

According to the results of selection the best projects will be presented on the X Kazan and XV Russian joint venture fair.

AppCampus – acceleration program for mobile applications under management of Aalto University in Espoo (Finland). This is a joint project of Microsoft and Aalto University with an investment of 9 million euros for the development of mobile applications for Windows Phone and Windows platform. As of December 2014 were received 4,308 applications from more than 100 countries, 9,930,000 euros invested in 362 startups.
