Since 2005, Tatarstan has two programs to support (finance) small innovative companies: the Program of Development of Innovative Projects “Idea-1000” and the Contest “50 Best Innovative Ideas for the Republic of Tatarstan”.
Recall that the Program “Idea-1000” has consisted of three nominations: “Youth Innovation Project” (“YIP”), “Start- I” and “Start- II”.
To participate in the nomination “YIP” and therefore, in the Program “Idea-1000”, could be anyone under the age of 28 years, in parallel with the participation in the Contest “50 Best Innovative Ideas for the Republic of Tatarstan”.
From 2015 the following changes have occurred. The nomination “Youth Innovation Project” is derived from the Program “Idea-1000” and included in the Contest “50 Best Innovative Ideas for the Republic of Tatarstan”. In addition, to participate in the nomination “YIP” is only allowed for the winners of the finals of the qualifying competitions, accredited by the Foundation for Assistance to Small Innovative Enterprises in scientific and technical sphere (the FASIE), on the nomination U.M.N.I.K.
