The Centre for Youth Innovative Creativity (CYIT) “Idea” is a centre for technical creativity for the younger generation. Children have at their disposal universal prototyping equipment, laser engravers, 3D scanners, milling machines and 3D printers. The Centre can simultaneously engage from 10 to 15 children and they can create three-dimensional models and parts of complex shapes, developing skills of designing, programming and using technological equipment.
The equipment of CYIT “Idea” can be used both for educational and commercial purposes. For example, for making a model of a separate building in architecture, for creating color volumetric maps in geology, industrial design, mechanical engineering, etc. The pupils of the Centre are engaged in the same machines and laser installations, on which they will be able to create their products in the future.
The CYIT “Idea” was the first in Russia. It opened in the Technopark “Idea” on February 27, 2013 and since then has been a center of attraction for young people who create 3d printers on 3d printers, develop numerous projects to quickly find bicycles and more.
