The Investment and Venture Fund of the Republic of Tatarstan, the Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Tatarstan and the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Tatarstan are completing the online acceptance of applications for the contest “50 best innovative ideas for the Republic of Tatarstan’. Since 2020, the Competition will switch to an electronic format for accepting and processing applications.
Projects aimed at solving the problems of scientific, technical, economic, social and humanitarian development of the Republic of Tatarstan are accepted for participation in the competitive selection. In 2020, the competition will be held in 9 nominations: “Perspective”, “Innovations in Education’, “Start of Innovations”, ‘Nanoimpulse”, “Digital Economy”, “Patent of the Year”, ‘Socially Significant Innovations”, “Youth Innovation Project”, “National Technology Initiative Project”. Within the framework of the Competition, an expert selection of projects is also carried out to be awarded with prizes and scholarships from the partners of the competition: OJSC “Tatneftekhiminvest-holding”, OJSC “Svyazinvestneftekhim”, OJSC “Ak Bars Bank”, OJSC “Himgrad” and the Charity Fund of PJSC “Tatneft”.
According to the results of the Competition, depending on the nomination, the winners are awarded personal prizes and scholarships from the partners of the Competition up to 30,000 rubles, as well as prizes and targeted funding from the Investment and Venture Fund of the Republic of Tatarstan from 25,000 to 220,000 rubles.

TERMS AND STAGES OF THE CONTEST
Stage I (January 1 - October 15): the acceptance, registration and preliminary examination of projects for compliance with the requirements are carried out in the Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Tatarstan, the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Tatarstan and the Representative Offices of the IVF RT, applications received after October 15, 2020 participate in the competitive procedures of the next year;
Stage II (October 16 - November 30): examination and selection of projects;
Stage III (December 1 - December 31): approval of the results of the Competition and awarding of the winners.
This year, as in the past, only projects with documents confirming the implementation or intention to implement developments at the enterprises of the Republic of Tatarstan are accepted, with the exception of the nominations “Perspective”, “Innovations in Education”, “Projects of the Association of Innovative Regions of Russia” and “Youth innovative project ". Individuals who are at least 11 years old from the Republic of Tatarstan, regions of the Russian Federation and foreign citizens are invited to participate in the competition programs of the IVF RT.
The experience of holding the Competition shows a dynamic increase in the level of the applied component of projects, and as a result, the possibility of their commercialization.
In 2019, the final of the XV competition was held where 170 applicants out of 1,912 participants received prizes or funds for the development of a project - the prize fund was 12.8 million rubles. More than 21,000 applicants have participated in the competition throughout its history, of which more than 2,000 have won and been supported.
