Today the technology and cooperation results of Technopark "Idea" residents with institutes of higher education and scientific research institutes are presented to First Deputy Prime Minister RT in the InnovativeTechnopark "Idea".

The cooperation of Innovative Technopark "Idea" with institutes of higher education realizes in 5 directions:

1. From a science to the market. This cooperation realizes through the Program “Idea-1000” which has been organized in 2006 by Technopark "Idea" together with Fund of assistance to development of small enterprises in scientific and technical sphere (Assistance Fund) and GNO «Investment-venture fund RT».

Within the limits of this program there is a search and selection of creative collectives and scientific workings out with prospects of commercialization. The program includes three directions of resource support of winner’s projects. Winners of nominations can count on financing in volume from 400 thousand to 3 million roubles. Financing is carried out together with Fund of Assistance and Venture fund. Technopark provides creative collectives and the small companies with preferential services in localization, advancement, legal and accounting support. By results of 2008 the Kazan State Technological University became the leader in this program by quantity of demands.

2. From market to science. This direction is realized through the small companies-residents of Technopark "Idea" which have been created in Technopark and have occupied successful market niches. The companies work independently or order scientific researches by their contracts in the Institutes of higher education and scientific research institutes. As the experience of Technopark “Idea” residents shows, provisional collectives of Institutes of higher education and scientific research institutes, which are composed of postgraduate students, applicants and students, and which are headed by the leader of such direction, take part in these projects. Often such researches are conducted simultaneously in several institutes. Such process is coordinated by the representative of the small company-resident of Technopark.

Leaders on participation in the given direction are: the Kazan State Technical andTechnological Universities, the All-Russian scientific research institute of flow meter survey, Institute Organic and Physical Chemistry named after A.E.Arbuzov.

3. Training of personnel. This direction is carried out through the companies-residents which give to students a place of industrial and predegree practice with the subsequent job placement. The companies also realize personal retraining, teachers of Institutes of higher education, experts of the large companies - partners of Technopark residents. So, for example, students of the Kazan State Technical University named after A.N Tupolev and the Kazan State Technological University pass their practice in the Scientific and Production Enterprise "GKS" which main goal of activity is the execution of engineering works for the enterprises of an oil and gas industry with use of new technologies. The educational centre for students’ preparation, experts’ retraining of the large companies and teachers of Institutes of higher education is founded on the basis of company.

The similar centres are opened in the companies “Module-engineering service", "Laboratory of program technologies” System", "Data-processing centre Tehnomir", Yokogawa Electric, Siemens, GE Money Bank and others.

The company “Module-engineering service" has already opened centres and plans opening another. The centres work not only in Kazan, but also in Leninogorsk Innovative Technopark "Idea-South-East", in Almetyevsk together with Almetyevsk State Oil Institute.

Technopark "Idea" cooperates not only with students of engineering profession, but also with students of Economy and management at the enterprise department of Kazan State Technological University. Such cooperation realizes by means of business games holdings an example of real projects, assignment of places for predegree practice in Technopark "Idea" both in the Technopolis «Himgrad» and through a management of degree works. This school year the heads of diploma thesis are the First Deputy Prime Minister of RT Muratov Ravil Fatykhovich and the general director of Open Society «Operating Company «Idea Capital» Karimov Albert Anvarovich (Technopolis «Himgrad»)

4. The organization spin-off companies. Spin-off is the new company created by allocation from the parent company. A striking example of realization of such approach is Open Company «Laboratory of program technologies« the System »which works in territory of Technopark from the moment of its opening. During this time 25 students worked here, 5 from them have already opened the business. One of these companies now works with such large brands, as« Honda "and" L’oreal ». Similar examples are with companies" Scientific and Production Enterprise "GKS», «the Module-engineering service», "data-processing centre Tehnomir" and others.

5. The organization of Collective Using Center (CCU) the hi-tech equipment. CCU is a complex of the highly technological equipment for execution of the order on principles of outsourcing and horizontal integration with the purposes of optimization of enterprise output, providing the manufacture organization to the small and average innovative companies, experts training of experts, students and teachers of educational institutions.

Introduction of the modern equipment and technologies in CCU will allow cooperating with institute of higher education, to carry out the effective training, retraining of enterprises experts of and training of students. Participation of the Center in preparation of experts for future manufactures will lead to working out of the new curriculums which are based on the system approach to manufacture, on closer connection engineering, economic and the humanities. The experts prepared on these programs will be capable to accept responsible engineering, economic and administrative decisions on any of manufacture stages: from designing, creation, adoption, operation of the newest technologies before sale and service of production of high quality created on this basis.

Besides, CCU is the initial industrial platform of the innovative small enterprises, which passed the way from "sowing" stage (seed stage) till enterprise formation. CCU allows to release new high technology production in time, considerably to lower technical and investment risks and to involve investments into new projects.

Centre LEGO of designing and robotics, collective using which has organized Technopark "Idea", is calculated for schoolchildren and the students who lives or goes to schools which are located close to Technopark.

The main goal of the Center is to develop engineering skills on spatial designing, modeling, automatic control of schoolchildren and students through educational activity by means of sets of designers, program tools and actions. On employment pupils receive knowledge about the technical equipment, which they used in the present science world of design. They develop, build and program completely functional models of robots. They study to behave themselves as young scientists, carrying out simple researches, counting and measuring behavior, writing down and representing their results. Students of cybernetics departure KSTU conduct their activity as instructors in this centre.

The Laser centre, which renders the practical help to the region enterprises in adoption of modern laser technologies, advises on possibilities of adoption of processing laser technologies in concrete manufactures, develops the specialized equipment under requirements of the customer, renders services in marks of production to participant of small and average business, is created on the basis of OJSC "IPT" Idea »within the limits of works on creation of the specialized centres by separate kinds of processing (item 21 Tatarstan Republic Ministry’s decision №601 from 25.08.2008) in RT.

The closed unit investment fund of particularly venture investments «Regional venture fund of investments into small enterprises in scientific and technical sphere of St.-Petersburg» under the direction of Joint-Stock Company «VTB Management of actives» invested this project.
