Today solemn event devoted to fifth anniversary of Technopark “Idea” was held in Technopark.
Prime-minister of the Republic of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov, first deputy Prime-minister Ravil Muratov, chairman of Supervisory board of Foundation for assistance to small innovative enterprises Ivan Bortnik, executive director of Russian private equity and venture capital association Albina Nikkonen, members of Technopark “Idea” board of directors, many guests and partners of Technopark “Idea” took part in the event.
The Prime-minister of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov addressed to guests with welcoming speech. “We wanted to create an innovative centre of our republic. The opening of Innovative Technopark “Idea” was the first step to it”, - he said. According to Rustam Minnikhanov a lot of things were done for five year of Technopark existence. Many serious partners were appeared. “All of this we achieved owing to serious support of Russian leadership and our partners”, - the Prime-minister RT made a special emphasis. “I’m sure we are on the true way of small- and middle-scale enterprises development in the republic’, - Rustam Minnikhanov finished his speech.
Director-General of Technopark “Idea” Sergey Yushko resumed five-year work and told about effectiveness of innovative infrastructure activity and its social significance for the government. “We are working in order to further the innovative way of republic development and to provide opportunities for human capital increase, - Sergey Yushko noted. – Business model which provides for availability of anchor residents and small innovative enterprises is realized in Technopark “Idea””.
According to Sergey Yushko today Technopark keeps running at 82 per cent. The anchor residents play very important role. It is representations of such companies as DHL, McDonalds, Siemens, Scientific and production enterprise “GKS”, State non-commercial organization “Investment and Venture Fund of the Republic of Tatarstan” and “Yokogawa Electric CIS”, “GE Money Bank” which were opened not long ago.
117 companies were residents of Technopark “Idea” for its five-year work. Number of workers in companies-residents is about 1600, average stage of salary rises above average republic one.
“Tatarstan is region which is on the true way of innovative activity systemic development’, - Ivan Bortnik said. In whole he appreciated highly work of Technopark “Idea”. “I hope active cooperation of Foundation for assistance to small innovative enterprises and Innovative Technopark “Idea” will continue”, - he concluded.
In the business part of event also spoke senior manager director of Coral Group Uval Almong with presentation: “Macroeconomic effect of venture capital industry”, executive director of “Techtour” program Konstantin Fokin with lecture on the subject of “Techtour – effective instrument of innovations development”, director of Lahti Scientific and Business park Ltd (Finland) Mari Pantasar Kalio with lecture on the subject of “Finland scientific parks and innovative enterprises” and director for investments of state corporation “Russian venture company” Yan Ryazancev on the theme of “RVC, prospective programs, cooperation features”.
