Representatives of Committee of economic development and investment activity of Leningrad region have visited the Technopark “Idea”.

Representatives of Committee of economic development and investment activity of Leningrad region are in the Republic of Tatarstan with working visit from 1 to 3 of December, 2009. This visit aims at holding of a number of familiarization meetings with ministries, departments and organizations of the republic on broad range of issues in the sphere of economic, social, territorial, investment and innovative policy.

The delegation headed by deputy chairman of Committee of economic development and investment activity of Leningrad region, head of social and economic development department Valentin Chmil. The delegation also included head of organizing and methodological work department Irina Andreeva, head of demographic policy and people ware of economy department Oxana Evseenko, head of regional statistics department Lyudmila Potakhova and others.

General director of the Technopark “Idea” Sergey Yushko made review excursion and presentation of the Technopark, told about Technopark activity, its infrastructure, anchor residents, Laser Centre and Centre of LEGO robotics and construction activities, programs and contests which are organized by Technopark “Idea”. The guests showed special interest in the program of innovative projects development “IDEA-1000” which is aimed at increasing of science intensive business part in economy of the Republic of Tatarstan, development of priority economic sectors of RT, improvement of cooperation of innovative activity subjects of RT.

Deputy Chairman of small and middle-size enterprises development committee of the Republic of Tatarstan Natalia Tarkaeva and marketing director of the Technopolis “Himgrad” Yana Stoyanova also participated in the meeting.
