Delegation of the republic of Finland headed by the Minister of Foreign Trade and Development Mr. Paavo Matti Vayrynen was on an official visit to the Republic ofTatarstan. The delegation included representatives of ministries and departments, heads of companies. There were altogether 44 people.
Today grand opening of Tatar and Finland Business Forum was held at hotel “Mirage” in Kazan. Within the bounds of the forum Innovative Technopark “Idea-South-east” (Leninogorsk) and Lahti Science and Business Park signed the Memorandum of Understanding on organizing special equipment production intended for community services by equipping of KAMAZ trucks of additional equipment which made according to theFinland technologies.
The head of the Finland delegation met with the Prime Minister of the Republicof Tatarstan Mr. Rustam Minnikhanov and also visited Technopark “Idea”, IT-park. On the 4th of February, 2010 the delegation will visit Technopolis “Himgrad”, JSC “Kazanorgsintez” and also dwelling complex that is being built by Finland company YIT, Kama Industrial Park “Master”, Scientific and Technological Center “KAMAZ” and will meet with leadership of JSC “KAMAZ”.
