The delegation includes a head of national reviews department of OECD Jean Ginee, OECD consultants Patrick Durable and Jacque-Eric Ober, head of department of regional innovative reviews of OECD William James Thompson.
The experts of the international organization together with Ministry of Education and Science of the Russian Federation and Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Tatarstan are holding a number of events within the bounds of review preparation of national innovative system and innovative policy of Russia.
The main goal of the innovative review prepared by the experts of OECD together with the Russian Federation is to assess of current level of innovative activity in the country and help to the national government in the formulation of measures to strengthen this activity. Review development is one of the stages of the process of entering the Russian Federation to the OECD.
During the visit to the Republic of Tatarstan the OECD experts are holding assessment of the innovative system of RT with using the best methods and indicators of the innovative development. In addition the visit to the RT will be reflected in the OECD report which significantly affects the formation of positive investment image of the republic abroad. Certainly the establishment of direct contacts with the OECD specialists will allow to realize an effective experience exchange, to regularly appeal to experts’ opinion, to get involved them to decision tasks of innovative development of the republic.
With the bounds of the visit representatives of the OECD visited Technopark “Idea”. General Director Sergey Yushko informed experts with Technopark “Idea” activities, told about its infrastructure features, anchor residents, business incubators, its career-oriented activity and cooperation with institutes of higher education, international companies and state corporation “RUSNANO”.
April 15, 2010 representatives of the OECD also had met with heads of the Ministry of Education and Science of RT, the Ministry of Economy of RT, the Ministry of Industry and Trade of RT, Ministry of Information and Communications of RT, Academy of Sciences of RT, and had visited IT-park, Investment and Venture Fund of RT and Technopolis “Himgrad”.
