The Agreement purposes - are strengthening the innovation potentials of the parties, development of its scientific relations and promotion of scientific cooperation and practical implementation of the research in the areas of mutual interest.
The main objectives of cooperation: creating favourable conditions for traffic in ideas, as well as commercialization of joint projects and researches on the basis of Technopark “Idea” within the agreed priorities and programs.
Cooperation between Technopark “Idea” and NT-MDT Company had been carrying out for the last 2,5 years and had a considerable development within the implementation of Nanotechnology Centre Project on the basis of Technopark “Idea” and Technopolis “Himgrad”.
About NT-MDT Group of Companies
NT-MDT Group of Companies – the present leader of domestic instrument making for the nanotechnology – was born in the late eighties from the small group of enthusiasts composed of Viktor Bykov (at that time – the chief of Molecular Physics and Electronics Department of Research Institute of Physical Problems named by F.P.Lukin) and representatives from Research centre of the Russian Academy of Sciences in Pushchino – Pavel Lazarev and Michael Lazarev. MDT Company was established by this team. However, an official year of NT-MDT Company establishment was 1990, when the first product – scanning tunnel microscope for Institute of Crystallography of the Russian Academy of Sciences had been created. Similar devices at once were increasingly in demand among foreign scientists. Nowadays the Group of Companies carries out a full cycle of works – from the device development and production and to marketing and sale it to their end consumers. The Group of multiprofile Companies is created to conduct such multiple activities.

Foreign affiliates: NT-MDT Service&Logistic (Ireland), NT-MDT Europe BV (Holland), NT-MDT America (USA), NT-MDT Shanghai (China).
NT-MDT distributors work in 39 countries (USA, Germany, England, France, Italy, Spain, Switzerland, Australia, Israel, China, Korea, etc.).
NT-MDT occupies 95% of Russian market of the scanning tunnel microscope and steadily maintains the second position on this parameter in the world (Future Market Inc., 2009). The Company has produced and sold more than 3000 devices, most of which are being operated in the largest research and industrial centers of Europe, Asia and the North America (Fig. 1).
Every year the products of NT-MDT are offered in more than 120 thematic exhibitions.
NT-MDT elaborates a line of interdisciplinary research in the development of research, industrial and biomedical equipment, providing high product quality and uniqueness. The Company launched a large research and development activities in Russia, opened overseas offices and formed a broad distribution network all over the world.
