The event was organized by Law firm “Gorodisskiy & Partners” under the auspices of the Federal Service for Intellectual Property, Patents and Trademarks (Rospatent), Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Republic of Tatarstan, Kazan Federal University and Innovative Technopark “Idea”.
Year after year the seminar attracts more interests among enterprises and institutions of the Republic of Tatarstan. This year’s seminar was attended by more than 160 experts, including representatives of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Tatarstan, Ministries of the Republic of Tatarstan, universities, large companies of the Republic of Tatarstan and representatives of small businesses.
The Seminar was opened by the Director of LLC “Law firm Gorodisskiy & Partners ” branch in Kazan, Patent Counsel of the Russian Federation – Albert E. Ibragimov.
The Seminar involved the Moscow leading patent counsels of the Russian Federation and experts in intellectual property of the Law firm “Gorodisskiy & Partners”: Deputy Director of Department of trademark applications examination, FSI Federal Institute of Industrial Property (Rospatent, Moscow); Head of the Physics and Applied Mechanics Department, FSI Federal Institute of Industrial Property (Rospatent, Moscow), as well as the Chief State Customs Official of export control trade restrictions of Tatarstan customs.
The Seminar is oriented to discuss current issues of legal protection of inventions, utility models, trademarks, in Russia and abroad, review the features of legal protection of intellectual property, as well as methods to restraint of intellectual property piracy, judicial practice.
