The contest is focused on socio-economic aspects, providing young gifted people with the opportunity to carry out real research at the school-days stage on the following four areas: materials of the future, future technologies, future communications and environment of the future.
The contest involved upper students of secondary schools as well as specialized primary and secondary educational institutions of Kazan city and the Republic of Tatarstan at the age of 14-17. The contest consists of four stages from April the 1st to December the 25th, 2012, including theoretical training course in the Federal State Budgetary Educational Institution of Higher Professional Education “Kazan National Research Technological University” (FSBEI HPE “KNRTU”), development and defence of project. The winners will have a real chance to develop their own entrepreneurial initiatives in research centers of FSBEI HPE “KNRTU” on the basis of resident companies of Technopolis “Himgrad”.

The panel of competent judges was chaired by 50 experts – professors and teachers of the leading universities of the Republic of Tatarstan, including 13 experts from the organizers of the contest FSBEI HPE “Kazan National Research Technological University”, representatives of business and public organizations. The following organizations became the partners of the contest: The RT Young Entrepreneurs Union, Kazan Junior Achievement Center, The RT Cluster Development Center, Youth Public Organization “Kazan Nanotechnology Club”, Non-profit Organization “Interregional Agency for Energy Efficiency and Ecological Safety”, Association of Small and Medium-sized Businesses of the Republic of Tatarstan, Tyumen Regional Branch of All-Russian Public Organization “Business Russia”. The “School League RUSNANO” and “Business Venture” – with the information support of federal resources.
The results for the contest of innovative energy efficient technologies among students “Ecodom – EEE (Ecofriendly, Economic, Aesthetic)” 2011-2012 will be announced in this event. The winners will have the opportunity to make a presentation.
