On March 5-6, 2013, a seminar on “New manufacturing technologies” was held at Technopark “Idea” on the basis of the Youth Innovation Creativity Centre.
The seminar was attended by 100 experts of small and medium-sized businesses, students and post-graduate students. They had an opportunity to interact with a variety of new product technologies, tools for the market promotion and also they obtained qualified answers to their questions from the department managers and technical consultants.
“RussCom”(Moscow) Group of Companies, CJSC “IPT “Idea”, LLC “RT Laser Centre” and the Youth Innovation Creativity Centre “Idea” (Kazan) acted as the organizers of the seminar.
The basic idea of the seminar - demonstration of modern technologies feasibility to give new life to traditional things, paying attention to its designing process, manufacturing of a single sample and the series.
Over two consecutive days the participants studied the special printing technology on such materials as film, canvas, fabric and 3D plastic. The participants had also been demonstrated the innovative laminating and thermal transfer technologies. Organizers presented the equipment for the production of small runs operational and cost-effective plastic cards (technological line EASY CARD, plastic card printers, an optimal model for printing small runs of operational SMART LITE).
In addition, the participants had the opportunity to try out the equipment before purchasing it for their small production, equipping the university’s workshop.
According to Project Manager Nickolay Nasonov, the seminar was held with a view of further equipping of the Youth Innovation Creativity Centre “Idea”. “The seminar was a search for clients for already mastered technologies (plotter and laser cutting, engraving, production of 3D models, clichés, stamps),”- said Nasonov.
