Industrial Park «Himgrad» is going to start working in Kazan in 2007.

Industrial Park “Himgrad”, in which territory it is planned to implement the projects of petrochemistry and biotechnologies, is going to start working in 2007, - the President of the Republic of Tatarstan Mintimer Shaymiev said during the international technological congress "CITOGIC-2007-Кazan" held on September 4-8, 2007 in Tatarstan capital.

“We pin our hopes of petrochemistry innovative development on Industrial Park “Himgrad”, which is going to start working in 2007”, - he said.

One of the areas of Regional High Technology Park (Petrochemical Park) will be placed in the territory of “Himgrad”. The High Technology Park is developing according to the federal program “Creation of high technology parks inRussian Federation”.

The total amount of investing of the High Technology Park in petrochemistry is estimating of $488 million. “Himgrad” is planned to achieve $390 million turnover by 2011, - the Head of Tatarstan Republic mentioned.

Industrial Park is going to place such centers as: Business Incubator, Public Access Center of pilot refinery units, Research laboratories. «Himgrad» is placed in the territory of «Tasma Holding» with total area of 130 sq.m.

According to the preliminary estimation, product output of Industrial Park is to be about $625 million per year, tax proceeds of all budget levels - $117 million, number of employees – 10 thousands. “Kazanorgsintez” PLC and “Nizhnekamskneftekhim” PLC are the core enterprises.
