In ceremony also took place RT Minister of Economics Marat Safiullin, Head of information- analytical department of Cabinet Ministers of Tatarstan Republic Alexander Urtaev, Head of infocommunications, information security and logistical support department of RT Cabinet Ministers Airat Khairullin, Director-General of the Centre of Information Technology of Tatarstan Republic Nikolay Nikiforov, Director-General of Innovative Technopark “Idea” Sergey Yushko, Director of RT Investment Venture Fund Ainur Aideldinov, Director-General of “Tatenergo” JSC Ilshat Fardiev and other officials.
This new strategic initiative of Government of Tatarstan Republic and IBM Company is directed on enhancement for adaptation of IBM Company program solutions for domestic market and also for support and development of local software engineers.
According to Rustam Minnikhanov the signed document enables to implement further actions for realization of previously reached arrangements between RT Government and IBM Corporation. The Prime-minister noted that side pieces will regularly gather for discussion of current tasks - at the least once half a year.
The Centre under construction in the network of IT-Park will be prepared for a work in the middle of 2009 year. Its direct work will be focused on software certification and adaptation. In the framework of adapted products on the local market the Centre of program solutions development will carry out training program for partners and customers, interact with IBM production departments, participate in special marketing actions.
Also the signed document determines fields where IBM Company may give effective support in the sequel of Tatarstan Government for instance such as realization of “E-government” conception and develop of electronic facilities for republic people. Another task of the Center will be coordination and expansion of IBM works with local companies developing software. It will get involve gifted tatarstan specialists in equipment and software develop for business and scientific purposes.
The Centre of program solutions development is going to become the part of IBM globally integrated research and development centers network all over the world making very modern IBM computer systems. During 6 weeks a date of Protocol RT Government and IBM will develop plan of measures for Centre of program solutions development creation in republic. The effective combination of local and international experience will enable to create unique conditions for high-technology business, organize new work places in prospect of 3 year that will make possible to realize export potential of Tatarstan more efficiently in key branches.
“Today's signed document is significant achievement after long work, - Bruno Di Leo noted. – But it is only the first step on the way to long-term cooperation for quite a number of other joint projects”.
