IBM has acquired a right to sign an agreement of Technological Center creation in the future IT Park.

In April, 17 2007 Tatarstan Cabinet of Ministers has carried out a meeting, concerned to IT Park construction in the framework of creation the High Technology Park in Kazan. Prime Minister of the Tatarstan Republic Rustam Minnikhanov also took part in the meeting.

Among the participants of the meeting were First Deputy Prime Minister of the Tatarstan Republic Ravil Muratov, Head of Administration of Tatarstan Cabinet of Ministers Shamil Gafarov, Minister of informatization and telecommunication of Tatarstan Republic Farit Fazylzianov, state councilor of Tatarstan President Marat Safiullin, division head of Tatarstan Cabinet of Ministers Evgeniy Grishin, director for innovations of Technopark «Idea» Oleg Ibragimov, chief financial officer of Technopark «Idea» Karimov Albert, top management of State Non-Commercial Organization “Investment and Venture Fund of the Republic of Tatarstan” and State Administration «Information technologies Center of Tatarstan Republic».

The participants of that meeting discussed the results of open contest, selecting the one, who would have the right of carrying out marketing research, creating the development strategy and business-plan of Technological Center in IT sphere. They also talked over further activities of performing the government program, concerned to construction of the High Technology Park in Kazan.Technological Center in IT sphere is supposed to be one of the High Technology Park areas in Tatarstan.

In the end of the meeting «IBM- Eastern Europe/ Asia» company has acquired a right to sign an agreement with Technopark «Idea». The project development is Technopark «Idea»’s responsibility.
