Technopark «Idea» has being taken part in the XI Saint Petersburg International Economic Forum.

On the 9^th of June 2007 the XI Saint Petersburg International Economic Forum has opened its doors. The Forum will take place at “LenExpo”, the largest exhibition complex in Saint Petersburg. Thousands representatives of business and political elite all over the world will attend the event. Delegation of Tatarstan Republic is headed by President of Tatarstan Mintimer Shaymiev.

Minister of Economic Development and Trade of the Russian Federation Herman Gref, Chairman of the Council of Federation of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation Sergey Mironov and the Governor of Saint Petersburg Valentina Matvienko addressed the Forum ceremonial opening.

Delegation of Tatarstan Republic covers: Minister of Economy and Industry of the Republic of Tatarstan Boris Pavlov, Minister of Trade and Foreign Economic Cooperation 

of the Republic of Tatarstan Hafiz Salikhov, the Head of regional directorate of Federal Agency for special economic zones in the Republic of Tatarstan Timur Shagiveleev, Director-General of Technopark «Idea» Sergey Yushko.

The first Petersburg International Economic Forum was held on the 18-20th of June in 1997. Since 1998 Saint-Petersburg International Economic Forum become an annual event. Ten Forums have been held from 1997-2006. The Forum has become a unique barometer that gives objective appraisal of the state of Russian economics and economic relationship with regard to foreign partners.

Total area of the Expositions of the XI Saint Petersburg International Economic Forum is about 20 000 sq.m. The Forum Expositions actually fill the program with real-life projects, thus offering the Forum participants the latest update on the current state of the Russian economy and its upcoming trends – «Russia’s Innovational Developments», «Russian Federation Investment Fund Projects», «Regional Investment Projects», «Industrial Design».

Technopark «Idea» will present its projects within the united exposition of Tatarstan Republic at the two areas: «Russia’s Innovational Developments» and «Regional Investment Projects». Three projects will be placed in the first area: «Gas-dynamic dry seals for centrifugal compressors and gas-transfer compressor», «Oil well parameters control device «Rezonans-M» и «The portable multifunction analyzer of physicochemical properties on the basis of proton magnetic resonance «PMR».

The project «The High Technology Park» will be placed at the second area. This project is implementing inTatarstan Republic within the Federal Program on creation of High Technology Parks at the territory of Russian Federation. Total amount of Regional High Technology Park financing is about $ 303 mln.

More than 3 thousands participants from over the 60 different countries have been registered in the XI Saint Petersburg International Economic Forum. The Forum will continue though the 10th of June.
