The veterans of war and labor, who worked at various times at a defense enterprise “Sviyaga”, have met today with the work of Technopark “Idea” and the activities of its residents.
“Sviyaga” (now it is the “Kazan Electrotechnical Plant”) was established on the basis of evacuated plant in 1941 in the area of modern Technopark “Idea”. During the war the plant’s employees were working there day and night, were releasing a number of new sophisticated instruments and schemes of marine automation, and were introducing new technological methods of production. After the war the plant’s employees were engaged in manufacturing products necessary for rebuilding the war-shattered economy and manufacturing different products, for example, at the plant were made portable lighthouse lights and flashers machine.
Today, getting acquainted with residents, the veterans talked about where their departments were, what works they performed, and compared conditions of work. “You are young, hardworking and not standing still, well done!” - was heard from the mouths of the veterans.
In the Nanotechnology Center of the Republic of Tatarstan the veterans became acquainted with modern developments and the equipment on which these developments are carried out. Honored guests noted that in those days there was not such expensive equipment: “What all this money is acquired?”
CEO of “Idea” Sergey Yushko explained that Technopark is a closed joint stock company, and the money directly for the construction of the Nanotechnology Center were allocated by the Corporation “RUSNANO” and Tatarstan (represented by the Investment and Venture Fund of the Republic of Tatarstan and OJSC “Tatneftekhiminvest-holding”).
The veterans were particularly interested in the production activity. Sergey Yushko told them about the developments of residents: about the company “NV “Light”, engaged in the manufacture of led screens, about the design and production enterprise “Engineering and Innovation Center “Technomir”, developing the metering of oil, oil products and gas, and many others.
Sergey Yushko thanked the veterans for their contribution to the Victory and in the country’s development: “Without you, without your efforts all of this would not be”, - he noted.
“Then it was difficult to imagine that the plant can be changed so much, - said the veterans in their response. – It is a completely different world, better than before. Well done! Keep on Your brave deed!”
